PreVentIt designs and manufactures innovative building products engineered to make homes safer, healthier, and more efficient. Our first product, a patented bathroom fan soffit vent, solves a problem builders have lived with for years: moist exhaust air getting pulled back into the attic, leading to mold risk and costly repairs. Our directional design discharges air beyond the soffit's passive airstream, keeping attics drier and homes safer — proudly made in the USA and backed by laboratory testing, CFD analysis, and real-world field validation.
It's the first of several products we're bringing to the construction industry, each built the same way: identify a persistent problem, engineer a better solution, and validate it rigorously before it reaches the field.

Getting to know the owner
Anneliese Khalil is a free-spirited and deeply thoughtful creator. She is a residential construction energy efficiency expert, and through 18 years of experience in the home building industry, she has developed a suite of patented products to promote better, safer, and more efficient building practices. Her soffit vent, awarded a utility patent in August 2020, is now in full production and has been installed in thousands of homes across the country.
